Intro to Olympic Weightlifting : Loading Price...
Interested in trying a workout that utilizes all the major muscle groups, helps you get stronger, and jump higher? Try Olympic Weightlifting! In this 4 week session, participants will learn proper warm-up, form/technique, and cool down for the two basic Olympic Lifts: clean and jerk, and snatch. Accessory exercises, plyometric drills, and progression lifts will be covered in detail. Participants will learn about lifting safety on the platforms. On the last week, participants will learn how to implement the movements into their own exercise routines. Although it is beneficial to attend the “Intro to Powerlifting” session prior to this session, it is not necessary.
